I grew up in Sydney in a family that loved wine, and my godfather was a winemaker. It was, I suppose, inevitable that wine and the Barossa would become central to my life.
After backpacking around Europe and living in the UK for several years, I decided to pursue my growing interest in wine. I took the plunge, moved to South Australia and enrolled in the Wine Marketing at Roseworthy College.
It was then, while living in Tanunda, that my love affair with the Barossa was born. I discovered I was home.
I worked at several Barossa wineries at vintage time in those early days, working with the winemakers. To me, every aspect of the winemaking process is enjoyable and each new vintage is another story waiting to be told.
Working as a marketing manager for a number of small, prestigious Barossa wineries and being on the organising committee of several Barossa Vintage Festivals made me understand the importance of offering a quality Barossa wine and food experience to visitors.
That was the genesis of an idea.
Barossa Taste Sensations was born. I love sharing my knowledge about wine, food, the wonderful Barossa and other beautiful South Australian wine regions.
My commitment is twofold: to showcase the talented makers of the Barossa and the other South Australian wine regions and to give each guest an unforgettable wine and food experience.
