The Artisanal Experience puts you directly in from of traditional food producers whilst you taste your way through history. We will start the day by meeting the bakers at Apex bakery where you can witness their wood fired oven in action since 1924. A trip to Linke’s butchers where you will learn the smoking techniques used to make genuine mettwurst in the old methods. Finally visiting the Barossa Cheese company where you can try their local cheeses with either a tea or wine matching experience.
Throughout the day we will visit three genuine artisanal winemakers and taste their wines in a one on one experience.
In the Barossa, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to amazingly talented winemakers. Whilst the wine selections included on this tour are subject to the availability of the winemaker, we have other equally delightful options if the winemaker is unavailable to host.
