The Connoisseur tour is the ultimate in food and wine matching. As you weave your way through the patchwork landscape, the history and charm of the beautiful Barossa Valley unfold before you.
This tour takes you on a journey to experience the wines of five specialist winemakers. Enjoy wine tastings and dishes created from fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and tailored to match with the winemakers’ finest. At Rieslingfreak, you have a Riesling match, and at Willows Vineyard, you try the quintessential Barossa white, Semillon.
Turkey Flat’s flagship Rose and Grenache are sure to please, while at Standish Wine Company you experience a fine Shiraz. To finish your journey, we head to historic Seppeltsfield to round off the day with fortified wines again matched to a tasty treat created by award-winning chef Owen Andrews.
